Joanne Naidoo is a skilled Litigation Attorney from South Africa with over 15 years of experience in complex commercial and civil legal matters. After relocating to West Auckland in 2022 and being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, she joined Vodanovich Law, where she leverages her cross-jurisdictional insight and client-focused approach to protect her clients’ interests. Phil was admitted to the New Zealand Bar in 1981 and was also admitted to the South Australian Bar in 1986. Phil has practiced in partnership in regional New Zealand, in Adelaide South Australia, and upon his return from there in Auckland both in Partnership and latterly on his own account.
Phil is a general practitioner with an emphasis on private client work – residential and commercial property, trusts and estate planning, and relationship property. He also practices employment law for both employers and employees. He has served on various Law Society committees – principally those responsible for producing many of the documents used by practitioners today. He has presented seminars around New Zealand on various topics aligned with his practice.
Phil has also trained as a mediator and is an Associate of AMINZ
Phil takes a close interest in politics, reads widely, and plays golf for “relaxation”. His greatest achievement was winning the Devils Own Golf Tournament in 2011.
